500,000 mass for Hizbullah in Beirut
The Specter of Fascism Before Bush, there was Franklin Delano Roosevelt by Justin Raimondo
There are two sides to every story, just as the wingnuts bleat on about the 'cedar revolution', so the Shia Muslims of Lebanon go put their point across but suprise they are not awarded accolades, cause it does not fit in with the wignuts myopic vision.
An excerpt from the Guardian article:-
Clearly they have just a valid point as the anti syrian protestors, but that seems to of passed the wingnuts by.
They also seem to of forgotten the Syrians were brought in as part of an effort to end the 25 year civil war which tore Lebanon apart but I guess History does not mean much to Bush and the Neocons.

An excerpt from the Guardian article:-
The anti-Syrian protesters who have attracted worldwide attention are mostly Christians, plus Sunni Muslims and Druze, and they are generally from the better-off sections of Lebanese society. Yesterday's masses were overwhelmingly the poorer - and historically downtrodden - Shia, who form 40% of the population.
