Can the Bush Junta honestly say what benefits they have got from breaking the Geneva Conventions? They can't, they are unable to accept that they are wrong.
The solution is very simple, either charge and prosecute the detainees at Guantanamo Bay or let them go, holding them in limbo makes no sense and its unethical.

US President Bush is to announce that 14 foreign terrorism suspects are to be transferred from CIA custody to the department of defence, reports say.I bet the 'renditions' will still go on, only they will go even more underground. Though they have to realise what a faliure it is, how torturing is not going to win the 'war on terra'.
A senior government official said they would be transferred to the jail in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, ahead of planned future trials.
Mr Bush is to make a speech soon from the White House on the detainees.
