BBC Cardiff Singer of the World
The Chinese Bass Baritone Shen Yang was crowned the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2007. A well deserved win, only 23 but his voice was superb.
I was rooting for the English soprano Elizabeth Watts myself, her voice was beautiful and she really engaged the audience, was delighted she won the World Rosenblatt Recital Song Prize on Friday evening.
The Audience Prize, voted on by viewers, online users and the audience in St David's Hall, went to South African baritone Jacques Imbrailo.
