Thoughts on Class and Welfare

In Britain there are three classes today

Old Money

All the Rest

The Underclass (who are the ones who need a safety net)

The old division of upper, middle and working class have gone and this has taken its place

What right wing vulgar libertarian fuckheads forget is that with the process of land enclosures, the taking away of public land, the end of subsistence farming, this left an uprooted populace with little visible means of support, which required a welfare state.

The Land Enclosures led to the need and development of a Welfare State.
