I can almost hear Heidi snoring; she is the very picture of profound slumber.

As my music teacher in the days of yore wisely observed, "The more you practice, the better you get."

I'm not sure what's going on with George, except that his keen interest in whatever's happening behind the photographer has entirely banished his usual inclination to submit gracefully to the camera.

On the other hand, if today's portraits are meant to express Cardinal Feline Traits-- Heidi as Repose, and George as Curiosity-- the result is a smashing success.
