Jurassic Christ!

Film crew claims to have found lost tomb of Jesus in Jerusalem

DNA evidence and statistical analysis of a set of 2,000-year-old stone coffins found in Jerusalem in 1980 suggest they once held the remains of Christ and his family, according to a new documentary.

It says tests on human residue taken from the coffins believed to be those of Jesus and Mary Magdalene indicates they might have been a couple – and the filmmakers believe they may have had a son, Judah.

Mr Cameron, producer of the film Titanic in 1997, has also produced the Discovery Channel film set to air on Channel 4 in the UK. He will unveil the two key coffins at a Press conference in New York today.
So next the DNA of Jesus will be extracted and cloned on some distant tropical island, Jurassic Christ! Mind you to your average Christian fundie, Jesus's soul is like in heaven so any cloned Jesus would not be the real Jesus, just a decoy.

for years you've been eating the flesh of Jesus, now its his time to eat yours!

Also looks like James Cameron wants to keep his name in the news, free publicity.

Athens Airport

Athens airport disperses us to other airports. Where can I fight? asked the fighter.
Where can I deliver your child? a pregnant women shouts back.
Where can I invest my money? asks the officer.
This is none of my business, the intellectual says
Where did you come from? asks the customs' official.
And we answer: From the sea!
Where are you going?
To the sea, we answer
What is your address?
A woman of our group says: My village is the bundle on my back.
We have waited in the Athens airport for years.
A young man marries a girl but they have no place for their wedding night.
He asks: Where can I make love to her?
We laugh and say: This is not the right time for that question.
The analyst says: In order to live, they die by mistake.
The literary man says: Our camp will certainly fall.
What do they want with us?
Athens airport welcomes it visitors without end.
Yet, like benches in the terminal, we remain, impatiently waiting for
the sea.
How many more years longer, O Athens's airport?

Blair to pull out troops.

Brit Troops To Trickle Out Of Iraq - Blair Statement Set For Tomorrow ...

Blair 'to confirm Iraq timetable'
Prime Minister Tony Blair is expected to announce a timetable for the withdrawal of UK troops from Iraq.

Mr Blair is due to make a statement about the 7,000 British troops serving in Iraq at the Commons on Wednesday.

The BBC's James Landale said 1,500 troops were expected to return home in months, rising to 3,000 by Christmas.

Downing Street has not confirmed the reports but Whitehall sources have told the BBC the process could be slowed down if the situation in Iraq worsens.

A Downing Street spokesman said: "It is right that the prime minister should update Parliament first."
Wonder what made Blair to decided to start withdrawing troops?

Its certainly a positive development. Iraq is a hopeless situation, and its a bloody mess, withdrawing now is not going to make the situation worse, it is already long past that stage.

Perhaps to still keep up the delusion he can act independently of Bush? or so Iraq won't be an albatross hanging around Brown's neck. Maybe he was worried about Prince Harry going to Iraq? heh I mean he is not going to be popular around Buckingham Palace by telling Brenda her son is dead.

Blair is also going to step down this year as PM, and this might be all about his obsession over his legacy and his desperate need to salvage it.

Then again this could be a precursor to the Bush Junta's plan to bomb Iran but then I am just putting on my tinfoil hat.

I can't wait to see how the war supporters spin this!!!!!

Sunday Fun

You Are 60% Open Minded

You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.
Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.
But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.
You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself.

You Are a "Don't Tread On Me" Libertarian

You distrust the government, are fiercely independent, and don't belong in either party.
Religion and politics should never mix, in your opinion... and you feel opressed by both.
You don't want the government to cramp your self made style. Or anyone else's for that matter.
You're proud to say that you're pro-choice on absolutely everything!

They Would Love To See Me Dead

They would love to see me dead, to say: He belongs to us, he is ours.
For twenty years I heard their footsteps on the walls of night
They open no doors, yet they are now. I see three of them:
a poet, killer and a reader of books
Will you have some wine? I asked.
Yes, they answered.
When do you plan to shoot me? I asked.
Take it easy, they answered.
They line up their glasses all in a row and started singing for the people.
I asked: When will you begin my assassination?
Already done, they said...Why did you send your shoes on ahead of your soul?
So it can wander the face of the earth, I said.
The earth is wickedly dark, so why your poem so white?
Because my heart is teeming with thirty seas, I answered.
They ask: Why do you love French wine?
Because I ought to love the most beautiful women, I answered.
They asked: How would you like your death?
Blue like the stars, pouring from a window-would you like some more wine?
Yes, we'll drink, they said
Please take your time. I want you to kill me slowly so I can write my last
poem to my heart's wife
. They laughed, and took from me
only the words dedicated to my heart's wife.
